A&S Class/Event General Info

Attend a Class or A&S Event at Gulf Wars! Gulf Wars welcomes all types of teaching and learning events in many areas. You will find both hands-on and lecture classes, as well as demonstrations, open workshops, "solars"/open discussions, performances, special events, and more!

Class Changes

There are ALWAYS changes to A&S classes and activities after the booklet goes to print, so BE SURE to check for changes DAILY on signboards, at Information Point (5-points), Class Info Point (at Artisan’s Row) and/or at any specific class/Activity area.

Class Limits

There are no sign up sheets for this war. For classes with limits, the first students to arrive will get a seat. Please be chivalrous in this process.  *Instructors are asked to HONOR size limits!*

Class Credit

Individuals are responsible for tracking their own class participation at war. You may use the generic University Class Credit form at the back of the class booklet for this purpose – consult your kingdom for class credit requirements.

NEW ** GULF WARS A&S CLASS CHALLENGE ** NEW

This year we will award folks who show their commitment to learning by taking 
at least 6 classes in any one A&S area, any one Artisan’s Row area, or 6 classes
in each of 6 different GW A&S areas. Challenge open to ages 5 and up.
See the Class Credit form at the back of this booklet for details.

Teaching/Hosting a Class/A&S Event

If you need to cancel/change a class PLEASE notify the area coordinator or class coordinator  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  immediately. We can get the word out digitally before and during war, and via posted announcements on site.

PLEASE CHECK IN ON SITE!

Please be sure to check in when you  arrive on site with the areas for which you signed up to teach. This will re-assure the class coordinator and give you an opportunity to obtain and last minute information.

Volunteer Hours

Teaching counts as volunteer hours for the war. Be sure you get your volunteer hour slips from the area in which you taught after each class.

NOTE: IT IS TOO LATE FOR A CLASS TO GET IN THE CLASS BOOKLET.

Most areas’ schedules are pretty full, but if you would still like to submit a class please do one of the following:
