Greetings from Constance Fergaunt
To insure that the wording is correct there are several places in this webpage that in the past the word Waterbearing was used in the past. Because of changes made by the BOD the Office of Waterbearing no longer exists. This does not mean that the nature of what we do does not exist. It means that we are now a free standing group of like minded individuals that support the populous, fighters and spectators. Ensuring that water, sports drinks, fruits and snacks are made available to keep the populous well hydrated. We are now called
Fighter Support.
Our goal is to provide a staffed Fighter Support station for the following activities:
- Heavy Weapons - Fort, Hastings Field, Ravine
- Rapier - Fort, Hastings Field, Ravine
- Equestrian
- Coursing
- Target Archery
- Live Weapons
We plan on having each Fighter Support station open 1 hour before the activities start and should remain open and staffed for the duration of the activities.
In order to reach this goal we will need YOUR help. Please volunteer at the main Fighter Support station, located at the Fort. Volunteer lots! It's good for you and for your Kingdom!
A few things to remember:
- You must be 18 years of age to be Figher Support on a fighting field.
**Please note that we can ALWAYS use the help, even if your are under 18!!** - If you are 13-17, your parent or legal guardian must sign you up to help Fighter Support.
- If you are 12 or under, your parent or legal guardian must sign you up AND help Fighter Support with you!!
- You must have a signed membership card or be willing to sign a waiver.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
Help yourself, help your fighter friends, help everyone! Volunteer at the war!
Other donations are always appreciated! We can always use Sports Drinks (no clear flavors please!), oranges, pickles, and of course your volunteer hours! If you would like to donate anything, please bring them to the Fort Fighter Support station.
As always, please feel free to contact me with questions, concerns or for volunteering!
