The format I would appreciate you following in order to provide updated information for this site is as follows....

If you are a Gulf Wars XX Staff member who is in change of providing updated information for this site, please follow the following protocol for updates.

If you are not a Gulf Wars XX staff member, but you have found a typo, or other bug or error on the site, please contact the webminster with as much detail as possible so that the problem may be investigated. It would be appreciated if you would also follow the update protocols where possible.

1. Copy and paste the entire page URL that the changes you are sending will be placed on with every change/update you send. This is important as there are over 100 pages in the site.
2. Under the URL please provide details of what needs to be changed. If only SOME information on a page needs to be changed please provide only the text that needs to be changed and detailed information on where I will find the text that needs to be changed/replaced. If a page that needs changes is more than 2 paragraphs please do not copy and past the entire page, make one or two word changes and send the entire page back to me. The reason for this is I can not copy and past what you send me directly to the site. I can not paste text that is formatted. So any unnecessary paragraphs sent along with small changes mean much extra work on this end.
3. If sending documents that need to be made available for download please explain clearly what page the link to the document(s) belongs. You may send instructions with attachments directly to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
4. Please keep in mind that the website is HUGE and there are hundreds of pages. The Web Administrator can not be expected to guess what page or area your changes belong on. You must be clear in your instructions. The clearer you are the faster we can make your updates.
5. Files/documents that need to be added to the website need to be sent via email to the Web Administrator. Please do not send a note saying "go and get this from the yahoo group". You will only be asked to send it directly.
6. Contact the Web Administrator DIRECTLY. Change requests made via any yahoo email list or the forums will not be received.
   
7. If the information you are submitting for placement on any page of the gulfwars.org website contains mundane name, address, phone number, email address or photos - you MUST supply a permission to publish form or your content WILL NOT be added to the site  (per SCA rules).
   
8. Please be patient. There are MANY GW staff people and a great deal of information coming from many people, it may take a little while to make your updates, but rest assured it will be done ASAP.
